Complaint Process

If you have a concern with an optometrist or the care you received, the MAO is the body responsible for dealing with your complaint. Our goal is to arrive at a solution that will accommodate both the patient and the optometrist. When appropriate, disciplinary action may be taken if a member breaches regulations or fails to maintain professional standards of practice.
